Leads Supply Chain Receiving Technician staff, and under general supervision, receive, warehouse, courier, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout various healthcare settings. Perform advanced supply chain duties such as receiving purchase orders or transporting supplies in vans and cargo trucks. Regularly assign, instruct, and check the work of others. Under general supervision, ensure that established priorities and carried out and deadlines met to support the work of the OU Health Supply Chain department.

Audit, inspect, and verify work for quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Assist with training Supply Chain staff.
Provide staff oversight to ensure policies, procedures, and processes are adhered to and provide input regarding performance to Manager.
Participate in planning staff schedule and interviewing and evaluating job applicants.
Prioritize workload and request for supplies and equipment.
May lead disaster response, following established departmental procedures in the absence of management.
Administers and directs the daily operation of the dock, including coordination of all inbound and outbound freight carriers.
Acts as a liaison between facility and delivery agents to address issues, concerns, and workflow.
Interfaces with truck drivers, carrier contact and security to address conflicts and issues.
Frequently inspects loading dock equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinates service or maintenance when needed.
Ensures that dock area is maintained in a way the supports a clean and safe environment.
Deliver supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies.
Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests in a timely manner.
Perform issues and credits in the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
May lead project work such as process improvement within the department.
Receive purchase orders in the MMIS.
Ship outbound packages utilizing appropriate shipping methodologies and verify incoming and outbound shipments for accuracy.
Resolve order discrepancies while adhering to department policy and procedure.
Courier fixtures, furniture, equipment, packages and supplies in vans and cargo trucks to the correct destination, using appropriate signature technologies.
Check various supply locations for product expiration dates and removal according to policy.
General Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 5 years of of Supply Chain experience required. Healthcare and/or inventory/receiving experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Valid Driver's License required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ability to utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs.
Typing, use of computers, computer software, and the ability to learn software applications necessary in the performance of typical work.
Proficiency in utilizing the MMIS.
Knowledge of general office equipment such a fax machines, copy machines, and printers.
Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners.
Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.
Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.
