General Description: The Director of Creative Services is responsible for leading the creative vision and execution of all marketing and communications initiatives within the health system. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in design, branding, and multimedia production. The Director of Creative Services is the creative/design and brand manager for all digital and physical materials created and published by the organization or the public. This includes digital advertising, publications, consumer and physician collateral, web and social graphics, email campaigns, digital signage, apparel, and various promotional items. The Director of Creative Services is responsible for the education and proliferation of the OU Health brand standard guidelines throughout the healthcare enterprise and will collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging that aligns with the health system's mission and goals.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Brand Management: Oversee the brand identity. Maintain and evolves the health system's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials. Responsible for all brand standard compliance for all logo usage. Manages service mark, trademark, and federal registered trademark requests.
- Creative Leadership: Develop and implement creative strategies that enhance the health system's brand identity and support its marketing objectives.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of graphic designers and multimedia creators, fostering a collaborative, innovative and efficient work environment. Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
- Campaign Development: Oversee the creation of marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with the health system's goals. Work with marketing leads to develop creative for campaign landing page, email newsletters and other CRM campaign assets.
- Content Creation: Direct the production of high-quality content, including print, digital, video, and social media assets. Arranges and leads project kick-offs, supervises the creative team, and generates multiple concepts for campaigns. Provides quality control from concept to completion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical departments, to understand their needs and translate them into compelling creative solutions.
- Builds vendor relationships: Evaluates vendors, obtains competitive bids, ensures quality standards, and manages vendor accountability.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to keep the health system's creative efforts current and competitive.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of creative initiatives and make data-driven improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 8 to10 years of experience with 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a creative role required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Driver’s License.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong portfolio displaying expertise in design, branding, and multimedia production.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire graphic designers and multimedia creators.
- Strategic thinker able to assist in long-term campaign planning that will serve the organization’s business priorities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PhotoShelter.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
