Clinic Administration - Adult ServicesJob Description:
General Description: Under the direction of the Vice President of Ambulatory Operations, leads the day-to-day execution of outpatient operations strategy across the OU Health enterprise. Oversees financial performance, policy adherence, and quality outcomes in assigned areas. Leads assigned clinic directors in implementation of outpatient best practices, employee engagement and development, health equity enhancement, and patient experience improvements.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for achievement of established performance measures including (but not limited to): Quality, Patient Experience, Employee Engagement, Physician Satisfaction, Growth, and Financial Stewardship
Evaluates clinic staffing models against established benchmarks and adjusts as needed
Oversees implementation of ambulatory operational growth goals
Achieves benchmarks for operational performance consistent with industry standards
Develops policies and procedures that support execution of best practices
Promotes and advances plans to enhance health equity for all patients, particularly high-risk populations
Leads ongoing expense reduction exercises across the ambulatory setting
Manages assigned clinic P&Ls, reviews all clinic-related expenses, and monitors adherence to annual budget
Coordinates annual capital budget exercises with assigned clinic directors
Identifies areas of opportunity for programmatic and operational growth
Works collaboratively across support areas to identify standardized workflows and processes focused on enhancement of an efficient, patient-centric care environment. These supports include (but are not limited to): Revenue Cycle, IT, HR, Supply Chain, Lab/Imaging, Pharmacy, Facilities, Quality, and Population Health
Monitors efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements, and requirements for all applicable accrediting agencies
Participates in recruitment and selection of ambulatory leaders and staff
Addresses escalated employee performance and/or behavior challenges as needed to support the senior clinic directors.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field required.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience required at a multispecialty medical group; strong preference given to candidates with experience working in an academic health system.
Certification/Licensures: None
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning, human resources, clinic procedures, and coordination of employees and resources.
Knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, and training.
Ability to use logic to identify problems and have solutions or different approaches to problems. Ability to consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choose the most appropriate course of action.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
Ability to develop organizational policies and procedures.
